The Astrological Sigils in the Font
The characters for this font were scanned from illustrations in an old book and with the help of PhotoShop, converted into TrueType Format (TTF) and eventually corrected using the program Fontforge.

When the author was designing the astrological font used for these texts, a standard font was required as a placeholder. To access the individual characters in any font, they needed to be assigned to already existing letters or numbers in a standard form.

For historical reasons in the computer world, at the root of all that is the ASCII layout. The association of ASCII letters and astrological characters was deemed to require an easily remembered cross reference. When using the font in a word-processor, typing a capital A will produce the sigil for Aries.

About

Hi, my name is Rod Schneider and I have created this website to illustrate how, with the help of astrology, that negativity can be converted into something more positive. The astrology being shown here is rooted in the most ancient inceptions derived from Hermetism. It is technical but in the hands of a practitioner already familiar with astrology has great potential to be helpful. There is also much help for non-astrologers to use astrology in a different manner, namely with cycles and phases.

Comments and contributions are always welcome.
